Why HC Badges Exist
The $1.3 trillion flexible workforce market has a recognition problem. Existing awards are pay-to-play, opaque, or inflated to the point of meaninglessness. We built HC Badges to fix that — a transparent, merit-based system where recognition is earned, not purchased.
Every badge is backed by the HC Score methodology, which weighs real performance data, credibility signals, and verified capabilities. No solution can buy a badge. No solution is excluded from consideration.
Badge Categories Awarded
Winter 2026 badges span four dimensions, each measuring a different facet of solution quality:
Performance Badges
Top 10% and Top 20% overall — recognizing solutions with the highest HC Scores across the entire platform.
Category Badges
Top solutions within specific market segments like Talent Platforms, Staffing Solutions, and AI Digital Workers.
Capability Badges
Top solutions within specific focus areas — Marketing, Engineering, Design, Finance, and more.
Regional Badges
Top solutions within geographic markets including the US, UK, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
What This Means for Badge Recipients
If you've earned a badge, it means your solution ranked in the top tier of all evaluated solutions across Human Cloud. Your badge is:
- Visible — displayed on your HC solution profile for all buyers to see
- Shareable — download your badge image, grab pre-written social copy, and embed it on your website via your Social Kit
- Valid for the full year — Winter 2026 badges remain active through the full calendar year
