Manual Override is a 6-week remote accelerator program that helps independent operators and fractional professionals transition from tech company careers into successful independent businesses. Founded in 2025 by Shaina Anderson and Harry Siggins, the program is designed for tech professionals who want to build portfolio businesses around their core skills—fractional work, productized services, workshops, paid content, communities, and more. The program combines business fundamentals with practical AI systems training, helping participants establish strong positioning, pricing, marketing, sales, and operational foundations. Through Monday workshops, Wednesday Build Labs, weekly small group sessions, guest speakers, and access to a curated mentor network, participants learn to build multiple revenue streams and AI-first operating systems. Manual Override is closely connected to Hello Generalist, which has been supporting independent operators since 2022 and has paid out many millions of dollars through fractional placements. The program limits each cohort to 25 participants to ensure high-quality peer connections and personalized support. Alumni come from companies like Google, Meta, Stripe, Dropbox, and other leading tech firms, and now run successful independent practices offering fractional leadership, consulting, coaching, and productized services.
