At Human Cloud we have been helping leaders understand that AI amplifies, not automates, the importance of your human workforce.
Last week a16z published data that validated this position, specifically in the customer experience sector.
First, they validated the growth of human-led call centers.
Customer service hiring is now outpacing the broader job market. Indeed data shows CS job postings growing 10 percentage points faster year over year than the headline figure. The flippening happened in August 2025, and it has only accelerated since.

Then, they validated how the cost per outcome does not always favor AI.
Goldman Sachs ran the numbers: an AI call center rep costs $92 per day. A human costs $90. For voice, the juice is not worth the squeeze. And this cost arbitrage will only favor humans more as compute costs catch up with the supply imbalance for energy. Klarna learned this the hard way. They replaced 700 customer service agents with AI in 2024, watched quality tank, and started rehiring by May 2025.

Then, they validated the rise of multiple AI vendors, both showing the need for human ownership and previewing the growth of multiple talent solutions.

The AI vendor landscape and the talent landscape are both undergoing the same shift. They are both re-engineering a company''s supply chain, vendor ecosystem, and org design. Yet creating more complexity as the volume of vendors increases.
How do these three impact your business?
One thing we have always known at Human Cloud is that you need to get work done. You do not go to sleep dreaming about job reqs, resumes, and interview loops. This carries over into AI. You do not dream about more AI recruiters, more agentic HR and Procurement solutions. You dream about being the best business partner, driving your revenue and cost goals.
Which is why we help you build the human layer to your agentic workforce by automating everything that isn''t the relationship between you and the perfect partner. We automate discovery, we automate custom quotes and answers through RFPs. Then we hold your vendor intelligence so you can scale the perfect partner ecosystem across every team, every function, and the entire organization.
