Engagements

Overview

An engagement is a formal relationship between your organization and a solution. While briefs and RFPs are for evaluation, engagements represent active or planned work — you've selected a solution and are moving forward.

Starting an Engagement

You can initiate an engagement from:

• A solution profile page — click the Engage button
• A brief response — after reviewing a solution's response, start an engagement
• A shortlist — select a solution and click Engage

Selecting an Account

When starting an engagement, you'll choose which organization account to associate it with:

• Your personal account — for individual use
• Your buyer organization — for team-visible engagements
• A partner's buyer org — if you're acting as a partner (see Partners)

Tracking Engagements

Active engagements appear in My Cloud. You can track:

• Which solutions you have engagements with
• Engagement status and timeline
• Associated briefs and communications
