Business Cases & Reviews

How to add success stories, collect reviews, and build social proof for your solution profile.

Overview

Business cases and reviews are the strongest contributors to your HC Score. They provide verified social proof that helps buyers trust your solution.

Business Cases

A business case is a documented success story showing how a customer used your solution and what outcomes they achieved.

Adding a Business Case

  1. Go to your Solution Dashboard
  2. Navigate to the profile editing section
  3. Add a new business case with:
  • Customer name — the company that used your solution
  • Description — what you did and how
  • Outcomes — specific, measurable results (e.g., "Reduced time-to-fill by 40%")
  • Industry and category — to help buyers find relevant examples

What Makes a Strong Business Case

  • Specific metrics — numbers and percentages are more convincing than vague claims
  • Named customer — verified customer relationships carry more weight
  • Clear problem/solution narrative — what was the challenge, what did you do, what happened
  • Relevant industry — buyers look for cases in their own industry

Reviews & Kudos

Reviews are testimonials from people who have used your solution. Kudos are endorsements — shorter, lighter-weight signals of approval.

Collecting Reviews

  • Invite your customers to leave a review on your Human Cloud profile
  • Share your profile link with satisfied clients
  • Reviews from senior professionals and large organizations carry more weight in the HC Score

Verification

Human Cloud verifies the identity and organizational affiliation of reviewers. This is part of the anti-gaming measures in the HC Score system. Verified reviews from confirmed customers contribute significantly more to your score than unverified ones.

Impact on HC Score

Business cases and reviews directly affect multiple factors in the 21-factor HC Score:

  • Verified customers — named in business cases
  • Review quality — depth, seniority of reviewer, recency
  • Business case quality — specificity, outcomes, relevance

Solutions with 3+ strong business cases and 5+ verified reviews typically see the largest score improvements.
